塞萨洛尼基的德米特里

在中世纪时期，他被尊为天主教和東正教最重要的军人圣人之一，常与聖治相比较。圣德米特里的宗教节日是公历的10月26日，對於沿用儒略曆的基督徒則是11月8日。

圣德米特里或圣底马翠斯、底米丢（希臘語：；拉丁語：）是一位基督教殉道聖人，生活在4世纪早期。

塞萨洛尼基的德米特里杀死卡洛让皇帝(1824)

根据考古学的记载，德米特里奥斯是参议院家庭的一个年轻人，后来成为塞萨洛尼卡区的资深执政官。大约在公元306年的塞萨洛尼基，伽列里乌斯迫害基督徒时期，他被长矛击穿，这与他在7世纪镶嵌画中的描绘相符。
