树蜥属

树蜥属（学名：）是鬣蜥科的一属，包括24个物种。有些物种被称为森林蜥蜴，另一些因为红色的头为“吸血鬼”，还有一些称为花园蜥蜴。它们是原产于南亚、中国南部、东南亚大陆和安汶岛。变色树蜥已被引入到美国佛罗里达州，婆罗洲，苏拉威西岛，塞舌尔，毛里求斯和阿曼。[2]该属物种多样。

树蜥属与其它近缘属的区分是具有均匀尺寸背鳞，缺乏脸颊和肩膀之间的皮肤褶皱，四肢比Pseudocalotes属更强状的。相较于Bronchocela，树蜥属的尾巴和四肢相对较短。在穆迪（1980）确立树蜥属之前，所有前面的物种都属于同一属。
