理查·特里維西克
理查·特里維西克（Richard Trevithick、（1771年4月13日－1833年4月22日））是一位英國發明家、礦業工程師。他在1804年發明了世界上首輛可以實際運作的蒸汽機車。1805至1809年間曾經聯同同鄉的礦工嘗試挖掘穿越泰晤士河的水底隧道，但因為未有做好處理河床下鬆軟泥土的準備而失敗告終。[1]
