色當戰役 (1940年)

色當戰役，或稱第二次色當戰役[1]是第二世次界大戰法國戰役中，一場決定性的戰鬥。這場是戰鬥計畫中進行包圍比利時軍隊以及北部法軍先行的戰役。德國A集團軍在攻占色當之後橫渡馬斯河，並向北推進至英吉利海峽，以使盟軍在繼續遵循戴爾計畫向比利時東部推進行時，陷入困境。儘管有幾度盟軍的反擊，德軍依然在5月15日擊敗法軍，突破了他們的防線，向戰略縱深前進。5天後的5月20日，德軍抵達了英吉利海峽。此次的突破成功達成黃色作戰的目標，並將法國第七軍團、法國第九軍團、法國第一軍團以及比利時軍隊和英國遠征軍給圍困起來。此次戰役對於1940年法國淪陷亦有極大的相關。
